Built on trust
IT outsourcing built on trust and understanding your business
MI Support IT takes over your IT operations as your external IT department: support, security, monitoring and Microsoft 365 at a fixed monthly price from DKK 199 per user. The model is built for companies with 5-100 employees that want a long-term IT partner instead of hiring in-house. You keep ownership and insight; we take responsibility for operations.
In short
IT outsourcing means an external partner takes over responsibility for your company's IT operations, fully or in part.
The service typically covers monitoring of servers and networks, user support, licence and vendor management, security patching, plus backup and recovery. The benefit is access to an entire team of specialists at a predictable monthly price, instead of one internal employee having to cover every discipline alone.
MI Support IT offers IT outsourcing to Danish businesses in two models: full outsourcing, where we are your IT department, and partial outsourcing, where we reinforce your internal IT with specialist knowledge and round-the-clock readiness. The takeover always starts with a thorough analysis of your environment and needs, and the transition is typically completed within a few weeks without disrupting daily operations.
Operations are monitored 24/7, every case is documented, and our Danish service desk answers calls in under 20 seconds, measured across all enquiries, all year.

Definition
What does it mean to outsource IT operations?
When you outsource IT operations, you hand over all or parts of your IT systems, infrastructure and operations to an external partner, typically a professional IT service company with specialist competencies in operations and support. Outsourcing usually means a fixed agreement with clear scope for tasks such as server maintenance, IT support, database solutions, cybersecurity and system monitoring. You keep insight and control through fixed status meetings and monthly reports, while we handle the day-to-day operations.
Pricing
What does outsourcing IT operations cost?
Our agreements are built from three transparent parts, so you always know what you pay for. IT support for smaller businesses is the core of the model: The price follows the number of users, not the number of problems.
Price per user per month
From DKK 199 per user/month (Basis) or from DKK 349 (Professional with extended hours and security monitoring). Covers service desk, support and user administration.
Price per server/system per month
Monitoring, patching, backup verification and a monthly operations report for every system we run for you.
Onboarding: included
Mapping your environment, documentation and handover from your current provider is part of the agreement, not an extra invoice.
As a guide: a company with 10 employees starts from about DKK 2,000 per month, 25 employees from about DKK 5,000, and 50 employees from about DKK 10,000 on the Basis package, plus any server operations. The exact price depends on support level and number of systems.
External IT department
External IT department: the whole IT function without hiring
An external IT department gives you everything an internal IT function would otherwise deliver: operations, user support, monitoring, security and management of your other IT vendors. The difference is that you do not have to recruit, retain or cover for anyone.
The maths is easy to verify: An internal IT manager typically costs DKK 45,000 to 60,000 per month including pension and tooling, covers one set of skills and takes holidays. An external IT department costs a fixed monthly price per user, backed by a whole team of specialists who are never all away at once.
As a managed service provider in the Zealand region we combine the model with local presence: From our head office in Greve we reach most of Greater Copenhagen, Roskilde and Koege in under 45 minutes when a task needs hands on site. See our local coverage in the region.

24/7 service desk
Response times around the clock: P1 to P4
Every ticket is prioritised by business impact, and the response times are part of the agreement, not a statement of intent. The service desk is staffed around the clock, every day of the year, and the average phone response time is under 20 seconds.
| Priority | Example | Response time |
|---|---|---|
| P1 · Critical | Operations are down, the whole company is affected | Within 15 minutes |
| P2 · High | A core system or many users are affected | Within 1 hour |
| P3 · Normal | A single user is affected, work can continue | Within 4 hours |
| P4 · Low | Requests, changes and planned tasks | Next business day |
The specific levels are set in your service agreement to match your business.
The agreement
What does an IT operations outsourcing agreement include?
A serious outsourcing agreement should be readable and verifiable by non-technicians. Ours consists of five fixed elements. Good practice for vendor management and digital security is also described by the Danish Business Authority's Virksomhedsguiden, and for cloud services Microsoft's shared responsibility model on Microsoft Learn defines what the provider and you are each responsible for.
SLA and response times
Agreed response times on P1-P4 priorities, uptime targets and escalation paths. The SLA also describes what happens if the levels are not met.
What is included
Service desk, monitoring, patching, backup verification, user administration and a monthly report. The agreement lists it precisely, so there is no doubt about what the fixed price covers.
Extras and projects
Larger projects such as office moves, server replacement or migrations are priced separately as quotes before work begins. No surprise invoices.
Termination and exit
A reasonable notice period without long lock-in, and a documented exit process: Documentation, passwords and licences are yours and are handed over on termination.
Onboarding
A fixed programme of typically 2-4 weeks with mapping, documentation and takeover from your current provider, with no downtime for employees.
Data processing agreement
We process your data and are therefore a data processor. The data processing agreement is a fixed part of the contract from day one, as the GDPR requires.
Onboarding

4. Transition & handover
We coordinate the handover from your current provider or internal IT, without losing knowledge.
5. Hypercare
For the first 30-60 days we stay close with extra attention, so everything runs stably from day one.
6. Stable operations
We move into normal operations with fixed status meetings, monthly reports and continuous optimisation.
Comparison
Outsourcing vs. internal IT
An in-house IT department can offer proximity, but it's hard to cover every skill, on-call rotation and holiday period with a few employees. Here's how outsourcing to us differs.
| Area | Outsourcing to us | Internal IT |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Fixed monthly price with no hidden expenses | Salary, pension, holiday, sickness, training and recruitment |
| Skill coverage | Access to the entire team of specialists | Limited to the expertise of a few employees |
| Availability | 24/7 service desk, also holidays and weekends | Vulnerable during holidays, sickness and resignations |
| Scalability | Scale up and down quickly as needed | Requires new hires or layoffs |
| Knowledge sharing | Documented in our central systems | Risk of knowledge leaving with employees |
| Tools & licences | Included, RMM, monitoring, ticketing | You invest, maintain and renew them yourselves |
| Responsibility | Clear SLAs, we are accountable for operations | Responsibility stays internal, also when things go wrong |
| Focus | You spend time on your core business | Management spends time on IT staff management |
Trust
We build the partnership on long-term trust
Outsourcing is not a transaction, it's a partnership. We take responsibility for your IT operations as if they were our own.
How to choose the right IT partner
Choosing a partner for your IT operations comes down to more than price. Five points are worth checking before you sign.
Experience and references
Ask for concrete references from companies of your size and in your industry.
Service level and response times
Get it in writing how quickly critical cases are handled and what the SLA actually covers.
Security and compliance
Certifications, backup routines and GDPR processes must be documented, not just promised.
Pricing and flexibility
Fixed monthly pricing gives peace of mind, but the agreement should scale up and down as your needs change.
Data protection and backup
Check where data is stored, how often backups run, and how quickly you can recover after an incident.
